These Terms govern your use of Polish, a desktop application for macOS, Windows and Linux developed and distributed by RELAY X, a French SAS (RCS Toulouse 935 082 313), 35 rue de Rabastens, 31500 Toulouse (“Polish”, “we”, “us”). By downloading or using Polish, you agree to these Terms.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Polish on devices you own or control (up to 2 devices per license), for your personal or internal business purposes.
You may not:
Prices are in US dollars and may be subject to local taxes. Payments are processed by our Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy, which issues invoices and handles applicable taxes; their terms also apply to the purchase. We may change prices with reasonable prior notice; a change never affects a period you have already paid for.
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on any paid plan: email hello@polish.work within 14 days of your purchase and we'll refund it in full. This is in addition to any statutory rights you have as a consumer.
Polish uses license keys, not accounts. Your key is stored in your device's secure store. Keep it private. Keys are for your own use and may be deactivated if shared or abused. Each license works on up to 2 devices; you can manage or cancel your plan through the Lemon Squeezy customer portal.
If you use Polish with your own AI-provider key, you are responsible for complying with that provider's terms and for any usage costs they charge you. Polish is not liable for those costs.
You agree not to use Polish to:
Polish sends your selected text to an AI model and returns its output. AI output can be inaccurate, biased, or unsuitable for a given purpose. You are solely responsible for reviewing any transformed text before relying on or publishing it.
Polish is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that output will meet your requirements.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RELAY X shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of Polish. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for Polish in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer.
We may update Polish and these Terms over time. Material changes to the Terms will be announced with at least 14 days' notice (for example, on this page). Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the competent courts of Toulouse, France. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer-protection rules and the courts of your place of residence remain available to you. Because purchases are made through our Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy, consumer-sale matters such as billing, refunds, withdrawal and consumer mediation are handled by Lemon Squeezy as the seller of record.
